How to Play Snake
Guide the snake to each food tile, grow longer, and survive as long as possible without hitting a wall or your own body.
First moves
- Press a direction key, swipe, or tap the direction pad to start moving.
- Turn before you reach a wall; the snake keeps moving until you change direction or pause.
- Eat food to gain points and length, then plan a wider route around your growing body.
Useful habits
- Use the edge of the board carefully; corners are useful, but they leave little room for late turns.
- Avoid sudden reversals. The game will ignore a direct turn back into your neck.
- Pause with Space when you need a moment to choose your next route.
